How to prevent, reduce or cure Eczema?

Lifestyle

It is recommended to shower twice a day. It is a misconception bathing regularly makes the skin dry for eczema suffers, more than likely soaps should be avoided as they tend to strip off the protective oil layer causing the skin to become extra dry.

There is mild evidence that infants who omitted egg from their diet have a less chance of getting eczema. It is advisable to identify food allergies early to avoid the onset of unnecessary lifestyle changes.

Check clothing, certain materials are more prone to itching, scratching and peeling.

Moisturiser

It is recommended to use oil based moisturizers at least twice a day. Avoid products which contain irritants such as dyes, perfumes, foaming agents sodium lauryl sulfates (SLS), derivatives la the lauryl group, parabens, petrol chemicals as they often contain trace levels of irritants such as sulfur and heavy metals.

Medications

Commonly steroids, immunosuppressants and ceramide containing creams will be used. Try the Worlds 1st 100% All Natural Derma Relief Cream!
